Anyone can browse our website and listen to our artists but the major interest is to be able to interact with them. Therefore, being registered gives you the ability to vote, comment, invest in your favorite artists and also offers you a whole host of advantages. It takes only few seconds to do it.

Can I register without investing in a specific artist?

Of course! You can register at anytime without obligation and choose which artists you would like to invest in at a later date.

Even if I am not American, can I register on Your Music Company’s website?

Of course you can! Our website is open to you regardless of your nationality or place of residence, but you must abide by the laws that apply in your country pertaining to the use of the Internet.

Why should I invest in an artist?

By joining Your Music Company you are becoming a part of a New Era in the american music industry. Our website gives you the opportunity to:

  • Choose the music you love and support artists who create it

  • Receive Royalties from albums sales (including tracks related) that you have invested in

Where can I find artists to invest in?

To know who are the artists you can invest in, go to "Explore Artists" page and in the "Status " filter; check the box " In Funding Process ".

At what point in time can I invest in an artist?

As soon as an artist gets at least 25,000 " Votes", he’s starting the funding process period for his album.
You can then invest in it and monitor the progress of his funding. Once the goal is reached, it’s no longer possible to invest.

Is there a limit of units of Royalty Interest we can buy?

No.
As soon as you buy 1 unit (=US$10) you become one of the "FanVestors" of your favorite artist.
You can buy as much as available, except if you are American, you must be informed that laws are different from one state to another. For this reason, we will ask you to review carefully the conditions required in some specific states mentioned in the form you’ll have to fill out when investing in an artist.

What happens if the artist I invested in doesn’t reach the funding goal?

If your artist hasn’t reached his goal during the 3-month period required in the funding phase, you will be reimbursed for the money invested, and be able, if you wish, to invest in another artist in funding process.

Can I invest in several artists?

Absolutely, you are perfectly free to support as many artists as you wish!

At what point, will I receive my Royalties?

You’ll start to receive your Royalties, 3 months after the first track released has been sold. Your Royalties will be prorated based on units you bought, and also on the amount of tracks and albums sold.

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?

It’s easy. Simply click on the following link: I forgot my password you will receive an email containing a link to reset your password.

I am a Fan but also an Artist, can I use the same account?

No, you need to create 2 separate accounts with 2 different email addresses, for security reasons.

My Artist Account:

I have some songs to submit. Do I have a chance on Your Music Company website?

On YMC, you can submit one or preferably several demo songs, as long as you are 13 years old or over and free from any commitment.

I cannot upload a file (e.g. mp3, jpg, etc.) on my page. What am I supposed to do?

When you add content on your page, and it cannot be uploaded, an error message is displayed reminding you what kind of file is allowed.

For example to upload photos, only jpeg and/or jpeg are accepted. So you should check first whether the file format has been correctly registered on you computer and doesn’t have a wrong format.

I submitted my songs for validation on Your Music Company website. How long should I wait?

The response time is likely to depend on the number of artists we listen. Be patient! Our Team will answer you by email as soon as possible.
Be sure that our Artistic Department listens carefully all the songs sent to us.

Investments:

What payment methods do you have on the website? Are they secured?

On Your Music Company website, you can pay by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
Yes, any transactions on Your Music Company website are secured and certify SSL.

My purchase hasn’t been accepted. What can I do?

Your bank manages purchases made by credit card. If one of your purchases hasn’t been validated, we recommend you to wait a few minutes before trying again. If the problem is not solved, contact your bank.

Can I recoup my investment is my artist hasn’t reach his funding goal?

If your artist hasn’t reached his goal during the 3-month period required in the funding phase, you will be reimbursed for the money invested, and be able, if you wish, to invest in another artist in funding process.

Am I sure that my money invested is really spent on the production of my artist’s album?
